Bettina Lewin
Advertising, Fashion
Hamburg, New York
Bettina Lewin was born in Hildesheim, Lower Saxony, Germany. When she was as young as 9-years-old, she was determined to become a Photographer one day. After completing High School, she left for Barcelona where she started working as a Photographer for the independent magazine, V.O.; and produced a campaign for a Spanish fashion chain with just 4 rolls of film and 1 lens. The campaign was a huge success. In an unexpected turn, Bettina was then presented an opportunity to become a Beauty Editor, which she accepted and held for 12 years. Despite her success in this role, she never let go of her deep love for photography and decided to resign and return to it. Her work has since been shown in many exhibitions.
In 2001, Bettina became a full-time Photographer.
