I'm a Euro-American commercial, editorial and “art-documentary” photographer based in Berlin (formerly San Francisco). I specialize in environmental portraiture with the world as my studio, striving to create unexpected compositions of people and the unusual spaces they occupy.

Combining both natural light and studio strobes, I sculpt light to create a mood, an atmosphere, a photograph that tells a story and, hopefully, sparks curiosity in the viewer. I love taking on additional roles during my personal projects: art director, producer, location scout, wardrobe stylist, assistant, retoucher; but nothing beats collaborating with a dedicated team of like-minded creatives.

It's been a long road from Switzerland to California (now Germany), from Science to Graphic Design, from New Media to Photography. No matter what the medium is, being able to create, meet extraordinary people, and travel this stunning world is the ultimate reward.
