Rupert Laycock is a Melbourne based photographer who is principally interested in people. His photography spans the realms of editorial, fashion, beauty and portraiture. With a need to push his personal boundaries and an eye for geometric and negative spaces, Rupert is held by a fervour that continues his exploration through any and all areas of photography. With a background in English Literature and Greco-Roman Classicism mixed with a constant fascination of modern society, Rupert’s influences are a blender at full power. In 2012 Rupert graduated from RMIT University’s Photoimaging course with the high accreditation of Best Major Folio, which was Fine Art Beauty in it’s aesthetic. Rupert’s approach to working as a photographer is grounded in professional and open-minded strategies to get the shots required.
