Markus Henttonen is a Finland born photographer, visual artist and film maker. He is known for his timeless and beautiful images of people and landscapes. His style is honest and sensual with cinematic storytelling and atmospheric, even poetic moods. It is a visual world with ethereal beauty and spirit of freedom in the endless summer with images portraying emotion filled stories and moments.

Markus is mostly shooting on location and uses only natural light and exactly then, for him the magic of photography is most present.
 

After years in the art capital Berlin, Markus is now based in Sitges – Barcelona, where the soft light and variety of Mediterranean locations work seamlessly for his style. Working together with producer wife Mari the couples´ Mid Century inspired home Korento Villa is the perfect base for the creative lifestyle.
 

Markus is shooting for a variety of international clients that look for a distinctive style and storytelling for their projects. For them Markus´ style combined to his interest of creative concepts and passion for always doing his best work yet, is what quarantees amazing images.

Alongside editorial and commercial assignments Markus is currently working on his next book, scheduled to be published in 2022.
