British stylist Joanna Schlenzka graduated from Edinburgh University in 2000 where she studied English Literature, and promptly started her career as Fashion Editor at the influential London magazine Dazed & Confused, where she was soon promoted to the role of Senior Fashion Editor. After five years working full-time at Dazed & Confused, Joanna took on a contributing position at Dazed and Another Magazine, for whom she also regularly styles, in order to concentrate on her freelance work. Other magazines that Joanna contributes to include Harper's UK, US Vogue, British Vogue, Chinese Vogue, Russian Vogue, Japanese Vogue, Vogue Taiwan, In Style US, Porter, Muse, 10 Magazine, Interview, Ponystep, Lula, Details and Twin.

Joanna has also styled shows for Osman, Manish Arora, Mark Fast, Todd Lynn, Felder Felder, Jenny Packham, and Jasmine di Milo. She works regularly with photographers Daniel Jackson and Josh Olins. Other photographers that she has worked with include Serge Leblon, Hans Feurer, Martin Parr, Horst Diekgerdes, Max Farago, Karim Sadli, William Davidson, Chad Pitman, Miguel Riveriego, Richard Burbridge, Ellen Von Unwerth, Yelena Yemchuk, Liz Collins, Matt Irwin, KT Auleta, Ben Weller, Magnus Unnar, Andrea Spotorno, Laura Sciacovelli, Andreas Larsson, Daniel Sannwald, Mark Pillai and Johan Sandberg amongst others.

In 2010 Joanna was the guest Fashion Editor of Centrefold Issue 6, which she co-curated with the Art Director Daniel Baer (Studio Baer). In 2011 Joanna became the Fashion Director of Mixte) magazine.
